Law Review

Florida Coastal School of Law (Coastal Law) has a unique skills based program that is student-centered. Its programs are designed to advance students’ success in law school, on the bar exam, and in their careers. The school’s curriculum focuses on experiential education: the hands-on learning needed to equip graduates with the leadership, management, and interpersonal skills that are necessary for career success.

In fall 2013, Coastal Law launched JD Plus, a new curriculum that focuses on providing a customized legal education for each student and offering more opportunities for experiential learning. This program will develop students into attorneys who enter the profession with a demonstrated work ethic, a realistic understanding of the practice of law, and who are skilled in the fundamentals of research, writing and critical analysis.

Other new components include modules designed to enhance “lawyering skills,” an expanded writing curriculum, group projects, and public speaking exercises. For more information, visit JD Plus.

In addition to our enhanced J.D. curriculum, Coastal Law is proud to offer many other innovative programs to our students. Follow the links below to learn more.
