The Third Annual Spohrer & Dodd Trial Advocacy Scholarship Competition was held Thursday evening. The competitors were eight qualifying members of the Coastal Law Mock Trial team who had competed in multiple rounds of try-outs this fall to qualify. The problem they were arguing was based on a real case involving racial intolerance and hate crimes. Eight members of the local bar and press sat in as judges to score the competition.
