What: Washington, D.C. Networking Club Event Meeting
When: Tuesday, April 12th from 12:00 noon – 1:00 p.m.
Where: Room 270 (alternatively Room 250 if there is overflow)
As previously announced, the Career Services Department has created Networking Clubs in three key markets – Miami, Atlanta, and Washington, D.C. Each club has met throughout the semester to develop students’ networking skills in the context of a specific geographic market. These efforts will culminate with a trip to each city in May to attend a reception sponsored by Florida Coastal with the local bar association. This year’s Washington, D.C. Networking Club Event will take place on May 19th. Although participation in a Networking Club enhances the experience, you do not have to be a member of a Club to attend the networking event. All students and alumni are invited to participate.
During our meeting on April 12th, we will finalize arrangements for the trip and determine how many students will be in attendance at the functions we will be having on May 19th, which include a panel discussion with prominent D.C. lawyers and a reception with alumni at the University Club.
All students who might be interested in attending the functions in Washington, D.C. on May 19th are invited to attend this meeting.
