On Tuesday, November 13th at 1:00-2:00 p.m. in Room 455, Professor Ada Hammond will hold an information session on skills labs offered at Coastal Law. A skills lab is a course in which students work closely on live client cases with a professor who is a Florida Bar licensed full-time or adjunct faculty member. Because the faculty and staff at Coastal Law, as well as those in the legal community locally and beyond, believe it is important for students to have law-related experience while in school, we encourage at least one live client experience before graduating from law school. Skills Labs available: Wills & Estates; Education Law; Interviewing & Counseling; Mediation; Unemployment Compensation Claims and Appeals; Florida Appellate Law; Wrongful Convictions; Juvenile Law and Veteran’s Benefits Claims.
Please R.S.V.P. on Symplicity to attend this information session and learn more about the skills labs. Lunch will be served to those who R.S.V.P. by 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday!
