The Blackstone Legal Fellowship is a prestigious, nine-week summer internship program designed to train future legal scholars, litigators, policy makers, and judges, and is unlike any other opportunity available to Christian law students. What makes Blackstone unique?
Blackstone interns gather for two weeks at the beginning of the summer for intensive training in constitutional jurisprudence, natural law, history, and effective advocacy, taught by prominent legal scholars from around the country.
Each intern then participates in a six-week field internship that is individually selected to advance each intern’s career objectives. Placements include government entities, law firms, policy groups, and public interest legal organizations, both domestic and international.
The summer concludes with a week of career development training led by top litigators, jurists, and other legal professionals.
Upon completion of the program, interns will have the opportunity to join the Fellowship and have access to a dedicated career services team, additional training opportunities, and a broad alumni network that is available throughout their professional careers.
Blackstone is entering its 15th year, and has trained over 1,300 law students. These alumni are now working in major law firms and prominent government offices, teaching at top law schools, and clerking at every level of the state and federal judiciary systems.
Admission to Blackstone is highly competitive. Those selected for participation are provided airfare, lodging, materials, and a $6,300 scholarship. See the attached flyer for details on how to join the webinar.
