The Kozyak Minority Mentoring Foundation is providing four summer fellowships to first and second year law students who are either enrolled in a Florida law school or who are verified Florida residents attending an out- of-state law school. Each summer fellowship will be in the amount of $5,000.
The Scholarship Committee’s selection criteria will include evidence of performance indicative of likely future success in the field of law. The Scholarship Committee will consider, among other things, academic excellence, commitment to community service, commitment to diversity, and leadership skills.
Students are responsible for securing their own summer employment opportunities in the areas of government, judiciary or public interest. Summer employment opportunities must last for a minimum of six weeks and must be unpaid. Interested applicants should not be deterred if they have not identified their summer employment opportunity upon submission of this application. Students are encouraged to use their career offices to assist with identifying and securing suitable summer employment.
