Students: The applications for Spring 2014 Externships with Corporations, Public Interest Employers and Government Entities are now OPEN on Symplicity. To find the externship listings, click on the “Externship” shortcut link on your homepage under the “Find a Job” menu or go directly to the “Jobs” tab. Each listing includes the requirements and required application material. (Please note that the application requirements and pre-requisites are set by the supervising attorney). You need to have a resume uploaded on Symplicity in order to view the postings.
Schedule your appointment with a Career Counselor today to review your application materials and discuss the opportunities in a one-on-one setting. You can schedule your appointment on the Symplicity homepage by clicking “Request An Appointment” on the right-hand side of the page or stop by our office in Room 180.

We are excited to announce that on Friday, September 13th at 1:30 p.m. in Room 425 an Army JAG Corps officer as well as a Navy JAG Corps officer will conduct a joint information session for all students interested in learning about careers and internship opportunities in JAG.
This is a very rare chance to listen to two military JAG Corps representatives speak to students together and an especially great opportunity for first semester 1Ls to learn all about jobs and life in the JAG Corps and speak one-on-one with officers working in the field. You will also have an opportunity to ask questions in an informal setting.

Registration fee: $25 per student/recent graduate
Those attending the Equal Justice Works 2013 Conference and Career, sponsored by Georgetown University Law Center and Stanford Law School, must register online even if you are just attending for a conference session or Table Talk.
If you decide not to attend, you have until 5 p.m. EST October 11 to cancel your registration and receive a full refund. Cancellations after 5 p.m. EST October 11 will not be refunded.

Note: Due to NALP guidelines, 1L students are not eligible to interview with employers during the Equal Justice Works Career Fair. However, 1L students may informally talk to employers during “Table Talk” on Friday and Saturday.
