We are excited to announce that on Friday, September 13th at 1:30 p.m. in Room 425 an Army JAG Corps officer as well as a Navy JAG Corps officer will conduct a joint information session for all students interested in learning about careers and internship opportunities in JAG.
This is a very rare chance to listen to two military JAG Corps representatives speak to students together and an especially great opportunity for first semester 1Ls to learn all about jobs and life in the JAG Corps and speak one-on-one with officers working in the field. You will also have an opportunity to ask questions in an informal setting.

Looking for a place to network? Be sure to attend the first Tee Off Downtown (http://www.teeoffdowntown.com/) this Friday, May 3rd. It will be a fun night with live music, great food and various golf activities at the Jacksonville Shipyards to kick off The PLAYERS week. The event will run from 4:00 PM – 10:30 PM. There will be on-site parking, a food truck fare and a full cash bar. Etiquette expert, Diann Catlin, will be making an appearance and is always willing to help anyone looking for networking advice. A discussion on how to reduce your risk of a malpractice lawsuit. Lawyers risk being sued every time they provide legal services. Even if you have not made a mistake, a client may file a lawsuit alleging malpractice. Although you cannot control whether a lawsuit is filed against you, you can minimize your risk.

The Washington, D.C. alumni chapter invites all Coastal Law alumni, current students and their guests to a holiday social and Toys for Tots fundraiser on Friday, December 16 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Uno’s Chicago Grill at Union Station.
Everyone is asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to Toys for Tots.
