Network with Private Practitioners at CLE Events

One of the best ways to network with practitioners is at Continuing Legal Education (“CLE”) events, which all attorneys must attend annually per State Bar regulations.  For example, you might consider attending any of the following events sponsored by the State Bar of Georgia and its Institute of Continuing Legal Education.  Reach out to the presenters, who are generally experts in their given field, and chat casually with those seated around you.  Remember to ask for cards and to follow up after the seminar for more one-on-one discussions.

Nuts and Bolts of Family Law – August 19th – Savannah Marriott Riverfront, Savannah, Georgia

Contract Litigation – August 25th – State Bar of Georgia Headquarters, Atlanta, Georgia

Start Ups and Early Stage Companies – September 1st – State Bar of Georgia Headquarters, Atlanta, Georgia

Institute for City and County Attorneys – September 8th-9th – Georgia Center for Continuing Education, Athens, Georgia

Secrets to a Successful Plaintiff’s Personal Injury Practice – September 9th – State Bar of Georgia Headquarters, Atlanta, Georgia
