Taking a cue from the Green Bay Packers, Roger Groves believes a perfect way to right the NFL’s labor situation is to move toward fan ownership.
This labor negotiation is not really just about employees vs. employers. This is about how those two factions come together so they can provide a product for the public. The fans are an intended beneficiary of the “joint” enterprise between players and owners. The players and owners have been revenue sharing now for the better part of a half century and always found a way to make it work. But if there were no fans to attend or watch, there would be no stadiums, no TV, and no revenue.
