Hogshead-Makar to speak at USTFCCCA Women’s Summit

The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association will host its first-ever women’s summit in San Antonio on December 15 after the USTFCCCA Convention.

Coastal Law Professor Nancy Hogshead-Makar, legal advisor for the Women’s Sports Foundation, is slated to be one of the speakers, according to a press release about the summit.

“We are ecstatic to have such an exceptional group of women lead our first-ever Women’s Summit,” said USTFCCCA President Ted Bulling. “It is very important that we support women coaches in Cross Country and Track & Field in achieving professional fulfillment. I believe that one of the keys to that support is working with and learning from other talented and successful individuals, like the women in this group.”

Other speakers include Joni Comstock, Laura Gentile, Alfreeda Goff, Ann Salerno and Bonnie Tell.
