Severe Weather Policy
Florida Coastal School of Law will close because of severe weather when normal operation would pose a danger to students, staff and faculty while on campus or would prevent large numbers of them from coming to campus or returning safely to their homes in the immediate surrounding area. At all times, we urge individuals to assess their personal safety in deciding whether to come to work or class.
When the Law School is closed due to a severe weather emergency, classes are not held, meetings and other scheduled events are cancelled, and libraries and other non-essential areas are closed.
You can read the full Coastal Law Severe Weather Policy online.
Emergency and Disaster Response Plan
Florida Coastal School of Law is in the process of updating an Emergency and Disaster Response Plan, a comprehensive emergency and disaster preparedness plan for the management of critical resources in order to respond to and recover from an emergency and/or disaster in a prompt and organized manner. The new Plan will be implemented in the near future, and, at that time, this site will be updated to include a link to the Plan and the related procedures.
