Professor Ray Guzman, MBE Expert, will present a workshop to prepare 3L students for the Evidence portion of the Multistate Bar Examination. The workshop will include a complete review of the law of Evidence and is an opportunity for 3L students to begin preparing for the bar examination.
The Academic Success Department will be hosting the Bar Coaching Orientation for the February 2014 Florida Bar Exam Takers on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. in Room 550. This presentation will address the Floridabar coaching program and offerings as well as discuss what bar preparation entails. It is highly recommended that all Florida February 2014 Bar Takers attend.
Please come out and enjoy food from different parts of the world, including the Caribbean. We will be selling plates of food for $5.00 to raise money for our organization.

On Tuesday, November 19th from noon to 1 p.m. the Pro Bono Department will be hosting an information meeting in room 505. Representatives from Jacksonville Area Legal Aid and Three Rivers Legal Services will be present to share information about their organizations and how you can get involved.

The Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, in conjunction with the Governor’s office Human Trafficking Advocate Deborah Polston, is holding a meeting in Room 525.
The purpose of the meeting is for local, state, and federal law enforcement to meet with state agency officials to facilitate interagency cooperation and communication to combat human trafficking.
This event is not open to students at this time.
