Faculty panel on Justice Scalia

Professors Hopkins, Kolenc, McLaughlin, Pingree, Priester, Roederer and Schmitt hosted a highly successful faculty panel on Justice Scalia this past Thursday. The room was packed with students, with standing-room only, as they gathered to hear a vigorous and thoughtful discussion on the incredible and sometimes polarizing legacy of Justice Antonin Scalia. Spring FCSL Faculty Scholarship Exchange

The following members of the Coastal Law Faculty presented their current scholarships at the Spring FCSL Faculty Scholarship Exchange. Professors Clausen and Hammond discussed their in-progress supplement on Contracts Law. Professor Kolenc presented his ongoing project involving the freedom of religion. Professor Schmitt discussed his scholarship on the Fugitive Slave Act of 1850. Professor Roederer presented on an article he is developing about corruption in the South African government. Professor Reid discussed her scholarship on the lack of constraints in Copyright Law.  Finally, Professor Ponte led a discussion on how best to let the Coastal Law community learn about the exciting scholarships being developed by our faculty.
