Register now for 2013 Ehrlich Award luncheon

Duval County Judge Roberto A. Arias has won this year's prestigious Justice Raymond Ehrlich Award. Florida Coastal School of Law's Student Bar Association (SBA) will present the award to Arias on Thursday, February 7 from noon to 1:30p.m. at the River Club. Register here.

The SBA selects a recipient who "embodies professionalism and humanitarianism and integrity in the Jacksonville community. The award is given in the name of Ehrlich, a retired state Court Chief Justice, serviceman and well known civil trial lawyer who died in 2005. On the Supreme Court, Ehrlich was "known for his clear and definitive decisions," according to his obituary.

From the blogs: writing competitions and OCIs

Through March, a number of writing competitions exist for students to compete and earn a possible cash prize. The Academic Success Department welcomes students to visit its office to discuss any documents worth submitting.
