Coastal Law students win Florida Moot Court competition

As part of a two-day competition on June 26-27, a team of four Florida Coastal School of Law students won the State Championship at the 2013 Robert Orseck Memorial Moot Court Competition, besting all other Florida law schools. Held during the Florida Bar Annual Convention in Boca Raton, Fla., the competition is the oldest and most prestigious of its kind in the state.

Coastal Law appoints Rosa DuBose as Associate Dean of Experiential Learning

Florida Coastal School of Law has named Rosa DuBose as Associate Dean of Experiential Learning. She will serve to expand the school’s existing experiential learning programs, as well as to create new opportunities to further the law school’s commitment to prepare graduates for the practice of law.  

DuBose, who will reach her 10-year anniversary with Coastal Law in August, accepted the position as an opportunity to become more involved with the students and to aid the growth of an area in legal education she is passionate about.
