What is your favorite Coastal memory? My favorite memory of Coastal was when a fighting jet team was in town and they were practicing for an air show (which I didn’t know about), and they buzzed the lake in front of the outside deck, scaring me to death!
What is your proudest professional moment? Being asked to speak about small firm legal research at a Law Librarian conference and having the opportunity to teach a one day class involving Personal Injury from the Defense standpoint.
What is on your bookshelf? The Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon, James Michener, Jane Austen, Anne McAffrey, and of course my cousin Z. Recht.
What advice do you have for someone considering law school? Make sure and consider that law is the best option for you and try and figure out what you want to do with your legal degree sooner rather than later.
Who did you call when you found out you passed the bar? My mother, I actually found out I passed the bar while I was in Pensacola in a job interview. And when I say interview, I mean I was literally in the interview and was offered the opportunity to use a computer to check my results. This was before the widespread use of smart phones!
