Alumni Relations

The Florida Coastal School of Law Alumni Association is your organization, representing 6,000+ graduates.  All students who graduate from Coastal Law are members of the Alumni Association. There are no dues or fees to join.

From its beginnings, the law school has produced alumni whose contributions have enhanced the legal communities of not only Jacksonville but throughout the United States and across the world.

The mission of the Association is to enhance the future success of Florida Coastal School of Law by engaging, inspiring and increasing the visibility and participation of alumni.

What does the Alumni Association do? The Florida Coastal Alumni Association offers alumni the opportunity to network and socialize, assist with admissions, mentor and speak to students, and sponsor events. The Alumni Association is an unincorporated organization that is part of Coastal Law and is governed by a set of bylaws.

How does the Alumni Board of Directors function? The Alumni Board works closely with the Alumni Affairs staff to establish and achieve its goals.

How can I get involved? The Alumni Board of Directors seeks nominations for Board membership in the spring.  In addition, there are 17 Regional Alumni Chapters across the country that provide a local presence and opportunities for alumni to stay connected.

The Alumni Affairs Office works with the Alumni Board of Directors to develop, coordinate, and promote activities and programs for alumni to keep them engaged and connected with each other and with Coastal Law.  To contact the Alumni Affairs Office contact Megan Schade at (904) 516-8814.

Let us know when you secure a job or make a career change!

We strive to maintain accurate employment statistics for Coastal Law graduates.  This information is critically important to our office not only for required reporting to the National Association for Law Placement and the American Bar Association, but also for understanding the current state of the legal job market, both in Jacksonville and beyond, so that we may implement appropriate student and alumni programming.

For these reasons, we ask that all alumni, but particularly recent graduates, keep in touch and inform us of your current employment status. Please click here to report your current employment status!
