We are presently seeking a Legal Assistant the candidate will be maintaining and processing case information, managing the progression of cases to final disposition, creating electronic files, preparing and processing correspondence, memoranda and complex legal documents. Understanding the cycle of business and/or finance transactions to prepare transaction/loan closing documentation, organize files for delivery, oversee post-closing follow-up and filings. Administrative duties include scheduling meetings and appointments, maintaining attorney calendars and contact information, new client intake, file maintenance utilizing the firm’s electronic records management system, and travel coordination and expense reimbursement.

A high degree of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and a document management system is strongly preferred. Experience with e-filing and Wiznet is a plus. Top-notch accuracy and organizational skills; experience with time and billing and document management systems required. Be highly motivated, detail-oriented possess strong communication, organizational, and client service skills and be able to multi-task and work in a team-oriented environment. Top-notch accuracy, spelling, grammar and proofreading skills are necessary.

The ability to multi-task and work cooperatively in a team environment to meet deadlines is required. A willingness to take innovative approaches to administrative support is a plus.
